OpenSpool

OpenSpool collects no personal data. None of your information ever leaves your device.

OpenSpool is an offline line-capacity calculator for fishing reels. It is designed to work entirely on your phone, with no account and no network connection.

What we collect

Nothing. OpenSpool does not collect, store on a server, or transmit any personal information. Specifically, OpenSpool has:

• No account or sign-in.
• No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• No network requests — the reel and line catalog is bundled with the app and used offline.

Data stored on your device

The setups you save (“favorites”), any custom reels or lines you add, and your unit preference (US / metric) are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Email

The app includes an optional email link in Settings so you can send corrections or feedback. If you choose to email, your message is handled by your own email app and goes directly to the developer; OpenSpool itself sends nothing automatically.

Permissions

OpenSpool requests no sensitive permissions. It does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.

Children

OpenSpool does not collect data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new “last updated” date.
